If, having been to a multitude of jewellery shops, you still have not found the ring style you like (or one that could be tweaked to meet your needs), then why not design your own from scratch?
There is the possibility that your design may not be achievable, but a good jeweller should be able to suggest some minor amendments to make it so. Bespoke, tailor-made jewellery is more expensive than an off the peg choice, but it does allow you to get exactly what you want. Many jewellers will offer such a service but you need to ask and once more shop around till you find one you feel you can trust, who will make the rings at a cost that doesn’t break the bank.
You should always remember that buying the Wedding rings is fun and not a chore, so don’t make it into one. If you have been looking for what seems forever without success, take a break, then resume the hunt in a couple of weeks time, and focus on another area of planning and preparation for the Big Day. You will find that the change is as good as a rest and you will recommence the search for the ideal rings invigorated and refreshed.
So armed with all these ideas, get out there, spend some money, and have some fun!
