As well as the four ‘official’ responsibilities, there is scope for involvement elsewhere prior and during the day. Potential other tasks may include:
-
Contacting the Bride’s parents at the earliest opportunity to express your happiness and arrange a meet up (to discuss just how fabulous both the Bride & Groom are!).
-
Acting as a source of general advice – the perspective of both a man and a woman can prove invaluable as the couple strive for the perfect day.
-
Providing assistance when tracking down the perfect Wedding venue as well as help in searching out other product and service suppliers when asked.
-
For the Mother of the Groom, it is wise to liaise with the Bride’s mother to help ensure no clashes of outfit occur and that you both look equally as fab!
-
Helping to organise the guest list by suggesting names (and addresses) from the Groom’s side of the family and passing these onto the Bride & Groom or Bride’s Mother for final decisions.
-
Keeping track of any responses to the invitations that come your way and informing the Bride and Groom as soon as they arrive. Page 2 of 3 [ First | Previous | 1 | 2 | 3 | Next | Last ]
