It's all well and good to talk about suiting your shape, but what if you're a particlarly large, short or tall Bride? Well first of all, don't panic. If you do fall into one of these categories, this article is here to help.

Regardless of your weight or height, there are a whole host of dresses and designs out there that can make you look stunning on your Big Day - all you need to know is what to look out for. So, without further ado, let us tell you...

Plus Size Brides

For any larger ladies among us, whilst there are obviously some dresses that won't have the flattering effect you are looking for when you're the centre of attention (ones with a Mermaid skirt for example), there are others which really will leave guests gasping in amazement at how stunning you look.

Perhaps the most flattering outfit, when you are looking to minimise the attention on your 'cuddly-bits', is a dress that features a Princess Line top accompanied by an A-Line skirt.

Because of the sweeping line of the gown (the Princess Line top does not have a waist line where it meets the skirt, so the material flows from neckline to hemline) it is particularly slimming and helps to provide a look that elongates the body. The addition of an A-line skirt will help to mask the hips and bum.

There are of course many other options, and depending upon how cuddly you are, some may suit more than others. Tracking down the perfect outfit is not an exact science, but the ideas set out in our Dress Shopping article may be a good place to start.
