SUITING YOUR SHAPE

The main purpose of any outfit, let alone your Wedding dress, is to make you look as beautiful as possible and to show you off to the best of your ability. In order to achieve the best results, it is essential that you choose an outfit that best suits your shape.

There are four main body shapes and, just to be clear up front, these don’t include twig or beached whale!

This article takes a look at each shape in turn and we guarentee that every Bride will definitely fall into one of the four categories - and the results may just surprise you! None of the shapes are better than any of the others, so don't get upset if you're not happy with the one you fall into, and likewise there's no bragging rights if you think you’ve nabbed the best one!

Throughout the course of this article we will refer to different dress profiles, bodices, skirts etc. Don't panic if you're not familiar with all the terms - each one is clearly explained in the other articles of the Wedding Dress section.
