· Correct Wedding day details, including start and finish time (incorporating the times the videographer will be filming), locations (including addresses) and most importantly, the date.
· Full package details and description including a detailed breakdown (if applicable) and total cost.
· Approximate length of the video.
· Date you will be able to view the raw footage.
· Date you will receive the final edited video.
· The number of videos you will receive (including the format).
· Details of, and guarantee that, contingency plans will be in place.
· Details of the equipment being used.
· Details of any additional fees that may occur on the day (you should be looking for an hourly charge rate that will apply if things run over).
· Deposit details, balance due date and value.
· Details of the cancellation and refund policy.
· The videographer's signature.
If, when presented with the contract for the first time, there are changes you need making or things that you think are missing, then don’t be afraid to ask. Once the information above is written in the contract and of a standard that you are happy with, then, and only then, can you proceed to sign on the bottom line.
