Luxury Cars
Luxury Cars are similar in age to the Sports Cars, but tend to be more comfortable, less expensive and a little slower from 0 to 60. Jaguars, Bentleys and Rolls Royce’s are typical examples of modern luxury vehicles which have an executive status that most of us can only dream about. This type of car would sit perfectly with a contemporary Wedding theme although for a more traditional ceremony it may appear slightly out of place if there is more than one of them. You can expect to pay in the region of £250 to £350 for such a vehicle, but as always what’s included will vary so speak to more than one company if this type of vehicle interests you.
Stretched Cars
Stretched Limousines are a much more common sight on UK roads these days than they were just a few years ago. Whilst many of them are hired for purposes other than Weddings, the Wedding market does account for a reasonable proportion of their business. An American phenomenon that has made its way over here, the predominant names in the Limo market are Lincoln and Cadillac, although Hummers (those huge gas guzzling mini-trucks that you may have seen) are now becoming more popular.
In the last few years, further 'stretched' vehicles have emerged and European stretches are now available. VW Bettles and Mini's are perhaps the most prevalent two, but you can put money on it that others are on their way. These Euro-stretches provide a quirky and appealing twist on the norm.
The opinion on stretched Limo’s is mixed – some people people love them, some people don't, but whatever your opinion, you can’t argue that they are understated. Put simply, if you want to make an impression, get a Limo. Many companies will ask for specifics before providing you with a quote, but costs usually range from around £150 to £500 with all the usual variables affecting the price.
