Whilst Vintage and Classic Cars may make up the lions share of Wedding Transport, growing in popularity these days are the new breed of modern classics and Victorian alternatives.
Sports Cars, Luxury Cars, Stretched Limos’, American Classics and the good old Horse and Carriage have all made giant strides in popularity over recent years. So let’s take a look at each one in turn.
Modern Sports Cars
Modern Sports Cars have become a very popular alternative for the Groom and Best Man in particular, although they are also a viable option for other members of the Wedding Party. From Ferrari’s to Porsche’s, BMW’s to Mercedes they are cropping up all over the joint and a great many of them are hired outright, as opposed to with a driver, albeit the self-drive option usually comes at a premium.
Eye-catching and head-turning, these vehicles personify opulence and wealth (even if you have just spent your last penny paying for them!) and make a welcome addition to the Wedding transport scene. Depending upon the vehicle hired, mileage, time, day of the week and whether a chauffer is booked, you expect to pay anywhere between £250 and £750, perhaps even more (in case you were wondering, the Ferrari’s are nearer the latter figure!) but shop around as prices do vary substantially.
