Forget vintage cars. Forget a horse and carriage. If you want to be seen and remembered, the following vehicles are not only downright cool, but they really could be yours...
Tuk Tuk
Ideal for those of you planning an Oriental themed Wedding, or simply an option to stand out from the crowd, why not arrive for your Big Day in a Tuk Tuk?
OK, so you may have absolutely no idea what a tuk tuk is right now, but if we tell you they are pretty much an automatic rickshaw, we think you'll get the idea.
An ideal option for those of you who plan to Honeymoon, or who met in or are from the Far East, the Tuk Tuk can legally travel on UK roads at speeds of up to 40mph and makes the most amazing sound. Often, but not always, supplied without driver, you will need to have a driving license of your own and stay sober to operate one, but just imagine the look on your guests faces as you arrive. At around £300 per vehicle, they offer something quirky that will really get people looking.
Planes/Helicopters
If travel by land isn’t for you, then why not go by air! Obviously they will be piloted, so there is no need to rush through your pilots license, although unless arranged and paid for previously it is unlikely that the pilot will be dressed in anything too smart. There are certain things you will need to ensure before jumping straight in and booking one, primarily permission to land and take off from landowners and confirmation that the times you plan to fly are suitable – certain other guarantees may be required by the Charter company so be prepared. Helicopters can be chartered for Weddings from around £500 and make for a spectacular entrance, so why not go for it?
