Of course it needn’t be clothing that adds that personal touch – games, competitions and tasks can all add to the occasion. The tasks can range from the Stag/Hen answering questions with forfeits if they get them wrong, through to out-and-out challenges (often involving someone of the opposite sex!). Drinking competitions, drinking games and generally anything involving drink tends to add to the fun with, of course, a forfeit to the loser.

If you are organising the event, speak to the other guests and pull together ideas in advance of the night and select the best ones – after all, you don’t want to be accused of boring!

Having a fake police arrest, chaining the Hen or Stag to a lamppost or shaving their eyebrows does indeed add an element of individuality, but don’t do something that they will hold against you forever. In fact, the most important piece of advice we can give, is to remember that (if you are un-married) then chances are that they will be your Best Man or Chief Bridesmaid in the future, and revenge is sweet!

We will be extending this part of the site in due course and are on the prowl for killer outifts and challenge ideas. If you have any that you think others would like to know about, simply e-mail them through to us and we will take things from there.

Whatever you decide do in the end, the most crucial thing is not to let the Stag or Hen find out before hand!
