MAKING IT PERSONAL

The location and the activity make the day, but to give it that extra special touch, you need to 'make it personal'.

When we talk about making it personal, our guess is that the first thing that both men and women will think of are the good old fashioned ‘L’ Plates! Dressing up is indeed one option you have and whether it’s a simple sash for the Hens and antler head band for the Stags, or something a little more striking, then the outfits will definitely add that personal touch.

Of course what you wear is entirely up to you – we’ve seen Stags dressed as Roman Soldiers and Hen’s as Firewomen, the Groom-to-be dressed as Darth Vader surrounded by his Stormtroopers and the Bride-to-be dressed as Matron accompanied by her Student Nurses. There really are no limits, but as a word of caution, make sure that where you’re going will admit people in fancy dress and try not to ruin the outfits as they can be costly to replace!

For a slightly cheaper option, why not have some personalised T-shirts made-up. Whether they have embarrassing photographs of you all when you were younger, slogans reflecting the night out, or are embossed with the words ‘Groom’, ‘Bride’, ‘Best Man’, ‘Chief bridesmaid’, Mate of the Bride/Groom’ etc. they can all add that personal touch and provide an item you can cherish and keep forever.
