Possible Deserts to Accompany Canapes and Contemporary Nibbles

  • Strawberry Mille-Feuille
  • Petit Chocolate Truffle Cake
  • Individual Black Forest Muffins
  • Hazelnut Cream Eclairs

Possible Deserts to Accompany an Evening BBQ or Finger Buffet

  • Any of those listed under Canapés or Contemporary Nibbles
  • Selection of Individual Fresh Cream Pastries
  • Exotic Fresh Fruit Salad
  • Cheese & Biscuits
  • A Selection of Fresh Cream Gateaux or Cheesecakes

Remember if you want to serve Cheese and Biscuits instead of a dessert you are perfectly at liberty to do this - alternatively for those of you who want to make sure the guests at your wedding breakfast eat enough so that they won't eat the buffet on the evening you can serve both.  Etiquette dictates that a cheese course would be served after dessert but before coffee.  If you are intending to serve the wedding cake at the end of your meal you can forego the dessert course and follow-up your cheese and biscuits with coffee and wedding cake.
