Stag and Hen Nights
The Stag and Hen nights, whilst usually organised by the Best Man and Chief Bridesmaid respectively, will sometimes require some input. Possible dates and activities (that’s right, you don’t just have to get plastered – you can actually do something a little different!) should be mentioned to the organisers in advance to help them sort things out.
The Honeymoon
The honeymoon typically follows the Wedding Day and can involve anything from a 4 week worldwide cruise to a night in a hotel by the sea somewhere in the UK. If you are going abroad, unless the flight/boat leaves the next day, you will also need to consider how to spend the time in between the wedding and the honeymoon.
Weddings Abroad
If you are planning on getting married abroad, virtually all of the elements we have covered here will still need to be considered. If a Wedding Coordinator is made available by the venue to help with all the details for the day, you should use them to the best of your advantage – remember they are there to help. For those of you who are planning to arrange it yourself, a ‘Weddings Abroad’ section will be available on the site in the near future.
It may seem that there is a lot of things that you need to organise, and you’d be right! Hopefully you will now have a better understanding of why a thorough plan is needed and more importantly we have convinced you of the need to start one as soon as possible.
