4. Magazine
Whilst this is essentially a different type of album, it is very different from the conventional type that you are used to. The album contains all the usual photographs from the day, but is laid up in a much more modern format, with a multitude of word options to supplement the images. Captions, the vows and even comments from the guest book can all be added to this magazine style format.
Granted, it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you are after something strikingly different then this may well be for you. There are very limited suppliers of this product around the country at the moment, but expect the numbers to grow.
Of those that do offer the service, most offer it as an alternative to the traditional album but some will offer in addition. They are not a cheap ‘add-on’, hence the fact they are usually an alternative, but for those to whom this appeals, they are worth every penny.
5. Chocolate Pictures
A new phenomenon to the Wedding market is chocolate pictures. Whilst Wedding photographers will not offer this as part of their service, it may be possible to convince them to allow one particular snap to be made up into a chocolate image that would make an excellent ‘Thank You’ card for guests at your Wedding. Obviously in many cases the photographer will retain ownership of the photographs so it may be necessary to purchase the proof from them outright, but once you have negotiated a deal you will be surprised how quickly and cheaply it can be turned into a stunning chocolate image by a third party – a totally unique way of capturing the day.
As you can see, the options available these days would make your elderly relatives green with envy, and as technology advances the options are sure to grow. Many of the suggestions covered in this article are not as expensive as you might think, so if there is capacity in your budget, they could well be worth spending your last few available pennies on.
