Oranges, yellows and peaches are vibrant, energetic colours that dazzle the eye and the imagination. A Wedding with a yellow, peach or orange colour scheme brightens even the most overcast sky and puts a smile on everyone’s face.

Any colour from the range is perfect for a beach themed wedding with the joyous, holiday feel that the colours bring. Yellows and peaches can also work well with a Spring or Summer wedding and oranges can complement a Summer or Autumnal affair perfectly.

As they are radiant colours, as well as working with other colours from the range, they can also sit perfectly alongside vibrant greens or shimmering lilacs. A pastel variety from the range will work well with other pastel colours – rose and turquoise for example, whilst the darker, deeper oranges can combine well with chocolate browns and bottle greens to stunning effect for Autumn weddings. Bright gold will interact well with the whole range, whilst silver and chrome can work well with some of the darker colours - however, they may be overwhelmed by the lighter colours from the range.

Flowers are one of the easiest and most dramatic ways to showcase your colour scheme and there are a wide range of orange, yellow and peach coloured flowers that you may wish to choose should you wish. A number of the most popular ones are listed below:

·         Alstroemeria

·         Asclepias

·         Carnation

·         Daffodils

·         Dahlias

·         Freesia

·         Gerbera

·         Iris

·         Lily

·         Marigold

·         Orchids

·         Poppy

·         Rose

·         Snapdragons

·         Sunflowers

·         Tulips

When choosing oranges, yellows and peaches, make sure that you factor them into all aspects of the day from embroidery on the Wedding Dress, to supporting colours on the stationery. The Bridesmaids should obviously be wearing the colour, whilst the groom and male attendants outfits should have matching neckpieces and waistcoats / cummerbunds. When thinking of orange, lemon or peach, fruit immediately springs to mind, so take this opportunity to integrate some in – perhaps even think of serving dishes such as orange sorbet, lemon cheesecake, peach and passion fruit pudding etc. Fruit can also be incorporated into your wedding cake, so why not have a chocolate orange cake or alike. Finally, it goes without saying that the balloons, decorations and flowers should also be from the range.
