If perfectly matching items aren’t high up on your agenda, why not take a look in your run of the mill high street shoe shops? When a colour is in fashion it will come in all different styles and whilst the colour may not be identical between each style you will save a small fortune - many stock a range of ivory shoes as summer approaches specifically to capture the wedding market.

Whatever you choose, also bear the dress in mind. In may cases, shoes are not even visible for 90% of the time and we have even heard of bridesmaids wearing trainers for such occasions. Whilst we wouldn’t personally recommend this (for the simple reason that for at least 10% of the time they will be visible!) it still is an option.

So remember, comfort and practicality first, style and colour second, but ideally a combination of all four if possible.
