It might also be worth considering giving one or all of your ‘maids small bags. You’ll have a few things that you’ll want easy access to on the day (not to mention the ‘emergency item’s’ that we refer to in the article on the role of the Chief Bridesmaid) and if you spread these items between all of your bridesmaids (the adult ones anyway) no-one will need a rucksack!
In terms of hair accessories or head-wear the options are endless. For bridesmaids everything from small tiaras to diamonte hair pins or from flowers to fascinators (an ornate hair comb typically with feathers and sparkles projecting from it). With so many variations, we would suggest that you have a browse around your local retailer (or our Gallery) rather than us wasting your time by telling you about every single intricate alternative.
With fashions changing all the time, there are bound to be more things to add to this list over time. If you can see any glaring omissions or any newcomers that we should know about, please let us know and we will be happy to extend the article so everyone can be as clued up as you are (smarty pants!).
