For some it may be hard to remember, but with great confidence we can reveal that all of us were children once! So, what better way to celebrate your wedding than acting like a big kid again.
This article provides you with a whole host of entertainment ideas perfect for both the young, and the young at heart. So without further ado, put that copy of the Beano down, turn off the Teletubbies, take that Fab lolly out of your mouth, and get reading!
Inflatables
Typically seen at garden fetes and children’s birthday parties, inflatables can also make fantastic additions to a wedding, and will help to keep all of your outgoing and active guest’s happy for hours - regardless of their age.
We are all familair with bouncy castles that can be readily hired from outlets across the country, but there are also a huge range of alternative inflatables that are available. Inflatable obstacle courses, bungee runs (an inflataed platform where your guests compete to see how far they can run attached to bungee rope - fun to do, even funnier to watch!), inflatable sumo wrestling outfits and oversized boxing gloves are just some of the options available. Business across the UK hire items such as these out on a daily basis, and most can be acquired for the full day for just a handful of notes. One word of warning - make sure you have advised the venue in advance of your plans and have sufficent room - as you may have guessed, inflatables can take up a lot of room!
If you are planning to get hold of some inflatables for the day, it may well be worth your while to inform your guests of this in advance, and is probably best arranged for the evening when more casual outfits tend to be worn. It's all well and good having a vast array of fun items on hand to amuse your guests, but unless they 'dress for it' then all your efforts could be in vain.
