  • Electrical Items: Camera and/or video camera, films/memory cards, camera/video camera batteries and charger, camera/video camera accessories, mobile phone, mobile phone charger, travel iron, hairdryer, straighteners, curling tongs, travel plug adapter(s), mp3/CD player, portable DVD player, headphones, alarm clock.
  • Bagtastic: spare bag for purchases, beach bag/small backpack, bum bag.
  • Just in case: Mini sewing kit, Swiss Army knife, ponchos, travel-size washing detergent, spare batteries, compact brolly, plastic bags for wet clothes.
  • Home comforts: Earplugs and eye mask, shower cap, tissues/hankies.
  • May come in helpful: Guidebooks/maps/phrasebooks, pre-paid phone card, pen and paper, photocopy of your marriage license, Wedding Thank-You cards, frequent flier card/number.

  • A book, magazine or newspaper
  • Flight socks
  • Travel bands/travel sickness tablets
  • Small amount of cash in UK currency
  • Small amount of cash in destination currency
