Leave love-letters on each others pillow each morning: Just a few words scribbled on a napkin or small piece of paper (something along the lines of ‘I love you more today than I did yesterday, but less than I will tomorrow’) placed lovingly on your partners pillow will show them just how much you care.
Take along a CD of music from your wedding: Prepared in advance, you may even be able to persuade a kind restaurant owner to play the CD for you on your last night away.
Stay in bed all day: It is your honeymoon after all! What you get up to when you are in bed all day is between you and your partner!
Take long your own pampering products: Spend a day pampering each other with massages, face-masks etc. that you have brought from home.
Blag: Mention to everyone that it is your honeymoon – the hotel, the travel agent, the transport company, restaurants etc. Many freebies and upgrades are available at zero cost if you are willing to shout your happy news from the rooftops.
Collect keepsakes: Granted it may not seem magical now, but if you grab and keep whatever you can – travel tickets, napkins, receipts etc, you can put together a 'Honeymoon Memory Box' when you get back home that will cause nothing but joy when you look at it in years to come.
