Honeymoon Countdown :: 1 Month To Go

• Arrange your travel insurance.
• Re-confirm all travel arrangements.
• If you plan any surprises for the accommodation, (flowers, champagne etc.) make suitable arrangements.

Honeymoon Countdown :: Two Weeks To Go

• Get hold of Travellers Cheques and any foreign currency you plan to take with you.
• Buy/borrow any luggage that you may need.
• Make a packing list (or use the one on Weddingsday you can find by clicking here) and make sure that you have everything you need – go out and buy the extras if need be.
• Cancel newspaper and milk deliveries for when you’re away.
• Buy, borrow or prepare your camera and video camera – remember to clear any memory cards/discs (or get some fresh film). If you haven’t used the kit for a while (or at all!) familiarise yourself with how things work.
• Make sure that you have all your tickets and documents and, if any are missing, immediately chase them up.
• Confirm baggage allowance.
• Book seats at any ‘must visit’ restaurants.
• Confirm that a friend(s) or relative(s) will be tying up loose ends from the Wedding including the return of any hired outfits.
• Ask a trusted friend/relative to look after your Wedding gifts or have them delivered to your house and stored out of sight from prying eyes.
