According to a recent survey, Church Weddings are the most popular choice for couples tying the knot.

The survey, carried out by 'The Consumer Analysis Group', showed that the Church route was the favoured choice for 20-60 year olds getting wed in the UK.

The figures come as a big surprise to many, with the findings (60% of those surveyed said they wanted a Church Wedding) completely completely contradicting recent Office for National Statistics figures which show Civil Weddings soaring above their Church counterparts.

The survey further reveals that the younger the person is, the more likely they are to want to marry in a Church, and that those living in Northern Ireland are the most likely UK residents to head down the Church route.

Well I never!
