If you are the Stag or Hen, then here are the ten golden do’s and don’ts that you simply must follow on your nights out or days away. Stick to the rules if you want to have a good time and look back on the celebration with fondness, not regret:
Do make sure that your organiser if fully aware of what you want and, more importantly, don’t want to get up to or your stag do or hen night.
Don't have celebrations pencilled in for the night before the wedding – you will need all your energy for the day, and night, ahead!
Do consider doing something special that you have never done before - you'll only get one 'last night of freedom', don't waste it doing something you do each and every week.
Don't get up to something you might regret the next day – enough said on this one, I think you know what we mean!
Do make time to spend with each and every one of your guests, they have gone to the effort and expense to come along after all.
Don't get hurt and break any bones - an essential no-no of stag do's and hen parties.
Do have fun and have a laugh.
Don't get too drunk and forget everything that happens, at least not until the end of the night!
Do have a set amount of money put aside in your wedding budget to pay for the Stag/Hen celebrations so you aren’t caught short.
Don't forget to thank the organiser – they have put a lot of effort into planning this so make sure that you show them your appreciation.
If you stick to these rules, then you can’t go far wrong.
