The process of planning a wedding (not always but often) follows straight after popping the 'marry me' question, and all weddings take planning – even the smallest of ones. So if you are after a big traditional wedding on the other side of the world but you work full-time, study on an evening and are in the process of moving home, now might not be the best time. Wedding planning can be stressful, but don’t make it harder than it needs to be. It’s your day of a lifetime; give it the priority it needs to make it the day you want, and if delaying the engagement can help to ensure that you get everything you ever dreamed of, it may be wise to do so.
