You have lost the ring

One of the first things to do when buying an expensive ring is to get in insured. In many cases, and you will need to read the small print of existing policies - the ring may already be covered via your current Home Contents Insurance. A number of insurance companies cover single items up to the value of £1500 so this may suffice. However, if the ring is worth more than this, then unless you have taken out additional Personal Property Insurance then basically you are going to struggle to recoup the full value. As soon as the ring is in your possesion, make sure that you insure it and if it doesbecoem lost, then at least you cash won't have been lost with it!

There Were Arguments at the Engagement Party

It’s a fact of life that not everyone gets on. When relatives meet for the first time and alcohol is added to the mix, this can lead to a worrying scenario. If the two sets of parents clash, or your Uncle doesn’t like his Grandma, then that’s just the way it is I’m afraid. Hopefully, in the cold light of day when all is calm and all are sober, then apologies and forgiveness may rear their head, but if they don't then there is no nee to worry. You can try to speak to the warring parties individually and try to stress the importance of getting along for your sake. And to be honest, if all this fails, disappointing though it may be, then to be honest it’s their loss – whatever you do don’t let it come between the two of you.

There are other possible problems that might occur, but whatever they may be, just try to stay calm, look on the bright side, and most importantly, remember that it’s not the end of the world.
