On a Night: Lively yet relaxed is the order of the day in the towns and villages around the coast, but head inland to Bangkok and the vibrant nightlife kicks in with bars and clubs a plenty.
Shopping: More bustling and low key than modern and hectic. Stunning local arts and crafts including hand carved goods and raw silk items are everywhere. Theatrical masks and puppets and Buddhist artefacts, including a whole host of items featuring Buddha himself, are local specialities.
Top Resorts: The beach resorts of Phuket, Koh Lanta, Koh Samui, Hua Hin, Krabi, Cha-Am and Pattaya are rightfully popular, as is the vibrant capital Bangkok. For a different type of Thailand honeymoon head north to Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai.
Out & About: The world-famous Floating Market of Bangkok is something every honeymooner to Thailand should make time for. If you are feeling more cultural, Thailand offers visitors a unique opportunity to see some of the world’s most beautiful temples, including the Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha, although you can even take a trip to see some of the smaller ones in the Northern part of the country by elephant! Spending time with the friendly locals is a wonderful thing to do and it is hard to find nicer people anywhere in the world. For those after excitement, a night out watching Thai Boxing is a must.
