Best Time to go: St. Lucia is a year round destination although certain months are more highly recommended than others. July & August are the hottest months and temperatures can soar, whilst June to November experiences more rain than at other times of the year. December to May is the driest period and the perfect time for a St. Lucia honeymoon or wedding.
Best Beaches: If it is beach-life you are after, then head for either the North West or South West of the island where some of the country’s best can be found. Reduit Beach in the North West is one of St. Lucia’s finest.
For Activity Lovers: The trade winds that blow in from the sea make St. Lucia an ideal spot to try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing – diving, sailing and snorkelling in stunning turquoise Caribbean waters are also popular. Further inland, walking and hiking through the lush rainforest on the island is available, as well as mountain biking. If you are up for it, there are several facilities on St. Lucia offering visitors of all levels of ability the chance to saddle up and go horse riding for the day. Tennis courts can be found at most of the major hotels, and fishing is a popular relaxing activity should you be that way inclined.
