For Activity Lovers: Mountain biking along the Batur Trail is popular as is tennis and golf. For those of you looking for sport down on the beach, windsurfing and scuba diving are widely available. If you fancy a little more action, then head to the Ayung River and partake in white water rafting.

Local Flavours: The food in Bali is typically Indonesian so expect exotic tastes and textures mixed with local fresh seafood and meat. Chicken Satay, fried noodles, and roast suckling pig are local delicacies and for snacks, forget crisps and chocolate, fresh tropical fruit is the order of the day.
