These days your options for honeymoon destinations are endless. Just thirty years ago, leaving the UK shores was viewed as exotic, and in the early 90’s you were daring if you went outside Europe. But in 21st Century life, overseas weddings on the other side of the world and honeymoons spent exploring the Amazonian rainforest are not unheard of – and in the very near future the first commercial space flights are due to take off (there’s an opportunity to consummate your marriage if ever I heard one!)
But just where should you go? It’s a common question we get asked here at Weddingsday and to be honest there is never a right or wrong answer. The world is a mighty big place and the choices are huge. From castles in Scotland, to beaches in the Seychelles. From theme parks in Florida to backpacking Down Under you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to honeymoon destinations.
So rather than throwing a bunch of travel brochures and seeing which ones lands nearest to your feet, let us help take the guesswork out of it for you.
